In 2019, I turned the primary African American to guide a federal monetary regulatory company when President Trump made me Chairman of the Nationwide Credit score Union Administration, the unbiased federal company overseeing credit score unions throughout the nation. From that place, I had a novel view of how financial insurance policies impacted African American employees, households, and companies.
