Hezbollah confirmed that one in all its senior commanders, Fuad Shukr, had been killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut, and Hamas accused Israel of killing its political chief, Ismail Haniyeh, whereas he was in Tehran for the inauguration of Iran’s new president.
