It’s formally the Summer season of Sabrina, and she or he’s taking a while to have a good time.
On Monday (June 24), Billboard introduced that Sabrina Carpenter scores her first Billboard Scorching 100 No. 1 hit this week, with “Please Please Please” rising from No. 2 in its second week. And so as to add some whipped cream to the highest of her latte, Carpenter’s tune “Espresso” can be within the prime 5, sitting at No. 4 (following a No. 3 peak earlier this 12 months).
Carpenter celebrated the information on Instagram, posting a three-item carousel to her feed on Monday. The primary picture is the graphic of this week’s Scorching 100. Then there’s a video of Carpenter performing the tune’s signature claps with co-writer/producer Jack Antonoff and co-writer Amy Allen, plus engineer Laura Sisk off digital camera.
And at last, there’s an ill-fated quote-tweet from a fan on X that reads of “Please Please Please”: “i dont assume ive ever seen somebody fumble a second single this difficult. my goodness.” Whoops!

Danielle Fishel — who performed Topanga Matthews, the mother of Carpenter’s character’s finest pal on Woman Meets World — hit the feedback part to applaud the kid actor-turned-adult pop star. “Essentially the most deserving stunning (in and out) bb. I like you eternally.”
In the meantime, over on the Billboard International 200, Carpenter holds the highest two spots with “Please Please Please” and “Espresso,” which was No. 1 final week. On her IG Story, Carpenter merely captioned the chart graphic “Motherf—er!!!!!!!”
“Espresso” and “Please Please Please” are the primary two singles from Carpenter’s Quick n’ Candy album, due Aug. 23. She additionally introduced her Quick n’ Candy Tour final week, which kicks off in September.
