F.T.C. Clears Exxon Mobil’s Acquisition of Pioneer Pure Assets

The Federal Commerce Fee will bar Pioneer’s chief government, Scott Sheffield, from becoming a member of Exxon’s board, saying he colluded with OPEC to cut back oil manufacturing.
