A capturing Friday night time inside a nightclub within the Dupont Circle neighborhood in Washington, D.C., left a number of individuals wounded.
The Metropolitan Police Division mentioned officers responded to a capturing within the 1200 block of Connecticut Ave Northwest and 18th Avenue Northwest at round 11:30 p.m.
5 grownup victims have been discovered affected by gunshot wounds and have been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening accidents, MPD Assistant Chief Ramey Kyle mentioned in a video message posted on X.
Kyle mentioned one suspect was taken into custody and a weapon was recovered from the scene.

The incident occurred after a dispute contained in the nightclub, which spilled into the road, Kyle mentioned.
Police mentioned the scene is safe and there’s no additional risk to the group.
