Lucasfilm is celebrating this 12 months’s Star Wars Day by releasing all six episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, a thematic follow-up to 2022’s Tales of the Jedi. Whereas Tales of the Jedi adopted Ahsoka Tano and Depend Dooku’s respective rise and fall, Tales of the Empire presents followers with two girls on darker paths: Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto) and former Jedi Barriss Offee (Meredith Salenger). However within the first preview scene from the collection, Morgan finds herself in virtually a heroic position as she goes up towards Common Grievous (Matthew Wooden).
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars and in Revenge of the Sith, Grievous was a Kaleesh cyborg who was taught the right way to successfully wield a number of lightsabers by Depend Dooku. A number of Jedi died at Grievous’ palms, which is why Morgan and her fellow Nightsisters are so overwhelmed of their battle towards him.
Inosanto originated the position of Morgan Elsbeth in The Mandalorian Season 2, when she was revealed to be an affiliate of Grand Admiral Thrawn. She reprised her position within the Ahsoka collection final 12 months. Morgan’s facet of Tales of the Empire will presumably reveal how she ended up in Thrawn’s service.
