The Division of Protection confirmed that balloon particles that was recovered off of the coast of Alaska final month appeared to have been within the ocean for “properly over a 12 months.”

Sue Gough, a Division of Protection spokesperson, confirmed to Fox Information Digital that an preliminary inspection of the balloon “indicated” that it had been “within the ocean for properly over a 12 months.”
