Two lovable underage kittens that have been “catnipped” at a Florida Humane Society have been returned safely after they have been snatched from their cages.
Based on the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, two kittens — named Mitch and Marcus — have been “openly stolen” from their cages in an “off-limits” space of the shelter on Thursday.
The shelter stated that Mitch and Marcus have been positioned within the kitten nursery since they have been underage and weak.
Images from the brazen theft confirmed a younger man and girl getting into the shelter and shoved the kittens of their backpack earlier than taking off.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay stated that with the assistance of the Tampa Bay group and the Tampa Police Division, Mitch and Marcus have been returned.
The group stated that Sgt. Scott Savitt, supervisor of the District 1 Detective Squad, and Detective Jodie Maxim, together with one other TPD officer, went out of their method after receiving suggestions from the group to retrieve the kittens.

After the kittens have been returned to their cozy cages, they have been examined and deemed wholesome.
“After examination, the kittens are wholesome and doing effectively! You might be all our heroes!” the shelter stated.
