Washington D.C. thieves go away video message amid crime spree: ‘I really like you daddy’

Washington D.C. bandits had been caught on digicam leaving an unsolicited message on a surveillance video amid a string of mailbox robberies.

Based on video footage obtained by FOX 5, thieves had been caught on digicam in latest footage stealing from residents’ mailboxes in a Northwest D.C. neighborhood.

Within the footage, the mask-wearing thief was seen talking instantly into the Ring surveillance digicam.

“I really like you, daddy,” the thief is seen saying within the footage.

Within the footage, 4 thieves will be seen ransacking the condominium constructing’s mail slots.

Residents  have been an ongoing drawback within the neighborhood.

“It is irritating. I really feel like there is no recourse. I can not name the police even when I’ve them on video,” Adams Morgan instructed FOX 5. 

The residents mentioned that their Amazon packages have merely disappeared from their residence.

“Fortunately, Amazon is fairly good at reimbursing them or sending one other bundle,” Morgan mentioned.

Postal inspectors instructed the native outlet that they’re wanting into the surveillance video.
