A 17-year-old homicide suspect who escaped from a Philadelphia hospital on Wednesday has been captured, the U.S. Marshals Service Philadelphia confirmed Sunday.
In keeping with U.S. Marshals, Shane Pryor was taken into custody late Sunday afternoon after investigators noticed him on surveillance video getting off the bus in an space of Philadelphia he was identified to frequent.
Authorities stated Pryor was uncuffed and with two jail workers members when he managed to exit a car within the Emergency Room car parking zone on the Youngsters’s Hospital of Philadelphia and escape round midday on Wednesday, January 24.
After reviewing surveillance footage, officers say that he escaped the hospital driveway and went from constructing to constructing, strolling proper into public entrances and even spoke to individuals asking them for a telephone.
Pryor requested a entrance desk receptionist there for using a telephone, was informed no, and he then left that constructing, in accordance with Fox29 Philadelphia.
On Friday, Philadelphia Police arrested an 18-year-old who allegedly helped Pryor escape from custody.
Michael Diggs, who’s being accused of choosing up Pryor and serving to him escape police custody, has been charged with a number of crimes, together with Hindering Apprehension, Escape and Prison Conspiracy.
